Lauren Taslitz has an MFA from Tisch, a JD from Harvard, a BA from Princeton, and a certificate of completion from The Second City Writing Program.  She is the lyricist-librettist of Join the Club, After They’ve Gone, The Quantification of Relative Human Insignificance, A Game to Save the World, You Gave Me A Sheep, Red Bean Paste, Watch Me, The Qualms, The Whole is Greater than The Sum of Its Parts, and Unicorn.

Lauren's work has been performed at Barrington Stage Company, NYTB at the Cell, Chicago Dramatists, The Porchlight Music Theatre, Princeton University, and various other venues in both New York and Chicago.  Her cabaret show with composer Danny Ursetti, Regretting Almost Everything, which debuted at Mr. Finn’s Cabaret at Barrington Stage in August of 2017, had its New York premiere at Feinstein's/54 Below in April of 2018.
