I’m changing my professional name to Lauren Kahane.

Why? The name “Taslitz” doesn’t conjure who I aspire to be as an artist.

“Kahane” is not a random choice. Milton Kahane was my father’s father. When Milton died and my grandmother remarried, my father was adopted by her new husband, Joseph Taslitz.
